Yesteryear Collection

Guildford’s High Street historically had many independent retailers, including newsagents, chemists, and household stores, as part of the town’s vibrant retail landscape.
A newsagent known locally as Whites operated at 62 High Street, Guildford in the mid-20th century, and had features like an overhead cash-railway system.
Now believed to be a speciality coffee shop called Canopy.
